Title Track Support

Last updated: July 25, 2026

Title Track is built by an active salvage operation, so we know how it gets used in the yard. If something isn't working or isn't clear, email us.

Response time: Within 1 business day, usually sooner.

What Title Track Does

Title Track follows a salvage vehicle through eight lifecycle stages:

  1. Purchased
  2. In Transit
  3. Received
  4. Teardown/Rebuild
  5. Rebuild Inspection
  6. Re-title Applied
  7. Title Received
  8. Sold

Along the way you can enter Copart or IAA lot numbers and VINs, decode a VIN, photograph titles and other paperwork, generate lien notices and rebuilt-title cover sheets on your shop letterhead, and track per-vehicle cost and total capital deployed.

Common Questions

How do I get started?

Install Title Track from the App Store and sign in with the email address and password for your account. Your account belongs to a shop, and you'll see the vehicles for that shop. If you don't have an account yet, email support@investorcars.com and we'll get you set up.

How do I add a vehicle?

Create a vehicle record and enter the Copart or IAA lot number and the VIN by hand. Title Track does not log into auction sites, so lot numbers and VINs are always entered by you.

How does VIN decoding work?

Tap decode on a VIN and the app looks it up with the NHTSA vPIC service — a free public service run by the U.S. government — to fill in details like make, model, and year. The VIN is sent to NHTSA for that lookup. Nothing else about you or your shop is sent. You can always enter vehicle details manually instead.

How do I scan a title or other document?

Photograph the document with your camera or pick an existing image from your photo library. Title Track reads the text on the image using on-device OCR and uses it to match the document to the right vehicle. PDFs use the text already embedded in the file. You'll be asked for camera and photo library permission the first time; both are used only for capturing documents.

Text recognition picked the wrong vehicle or missed text

OCR works best on a flat, well-lit document photographed straight on, filling the frame, with no glare on the paper. Retake the photo if the match looks wrong — you can also attach the document to the correct vehicle yourself.

How do I reset my password?

Use the "Forgot password" link on the sign-in screen and follow the emailed instructions. If the reset email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then email support@investorcars.com from the address on your account and we'll reset it for you.

How do I enable Face ID / Touch ID unlock?

Sign in with your email and password once, then turn on biometric unlock in Settings. After that you can unlock Title Track with Face ID or Touch ID. The biometric check is done by iOS on your device — we never see or store your biometric data. If it stops working, confirm Face ID or Touch ID is enabled for Title Track in iOS Settings; you can always fall back to your password.

Who can see my shop's data?

Only accounts that belong to your shop. Every record is scoped to the shop your account belongs to.

How do I delete my account?

You can do it yourself in the app:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Delete account.
  3. Tap "Delete my account" and confirm with your account password.

This permanently deletes your account and personal data, and it can't be undone. If you're the last member of your shop, all of that shop's vehicles, photos, and documents are deleted too.

You can also email support@investorcars.com from the address on your account and we'll handle the deletion for you.
